Christmas reminds us once again that God enters the world quietly, but with the power of love that doesn't leave anyone out. In the Bethlehem Child, we receive the assurance that our life – with its joys and hardships, studies and work – is filled with His presence.

May He who was born for our salvation grant us His peace, the light of faith and perseverance in goodness. May He strengthen the bonds in families and in the community of our university, and in the coming year lead us along paths of hope, wise choices and mutual kindness.

And hope cannot fail
